Researchers from TU Darmstadt, TU Dresden, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), and Intel have developed superior purposes that mix HPC simulations with AI methods utilizing the open-source computational fluid dynamics solver OpenFOAM and the HPE-led SmartSim AI/ML library. These purposes present promise for bettering the accuracy and capabilities of conventional scientific and engineering modelling with data-driven methods. Most of these methods can result in accelerated scientific discovery and engineering prototyping by permitting researchers to run bigger or extra complicated simulations on fashionable computational sources.
