Mafia: The Old Country‘s release date is officially confirmed, along with the pricing details for its standard and deluxe editions. If you choose the standard edition before its launch on August 8, 2025, 2K promises a thrilling experience that won’t consume all your leisure time.
While this release date isn’t entirely new, it has finally been validated. The Old Country has experienced several leaks since its unveiling last summer, with the most recent slip occurring in April via a Steam announcement.
The Old Country will release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on August 8. Despite the delay of GTA 6, the plans for this game remain intact. The standard edition is priced at $49.99/£44.99, with an additional $10 for the deluxe edition.
The deluxe edition includes exclusive in-game content such as the Padrino Pack, Gatto Nero Pack, a digital copy of the game’s score, and a digital artbook. These packs mostly offer additional outfits and weapons, alongside a few vehicles and a horse.
Among the vehicles is the Eckhart Speciale Limousine, a stylish choice for making a grand entrance when taking your omertà oath. While it may attract the ire of the boss, that’s a risk worth embracing. Pre-orders for both editions also unlock exclusive rewards like the Soldato Pack.

If I ever visit Italy, I might find myself in hot water for cultural infractions—and rightly so!
2K President David Ismailer commented on the game, stating, “There’s a large audience for compelling stories that don’t require massive time commitments,” which underscores 2K’s commitment to delivering a “linear, highly-polished narrative experience that complements our players’ engagement with more persistent games.”
